Two years ago I was driving my coworkers crazy as my D-Day for Panama approached. (Sorry everyone). We had just had two weeks of garage sales and a mass giveaway at the end, sold the house too early, moved the five of us into my dad’s second home (camper), and then had to bum rides to work since we sold the cars too early too (thanks Jared), and then you all had to put up with my endless talk about Panama. We were moving into a jungle cabin where my wife had spent her Summer’s as a girl.

She had painted this idyllic picture of the place, and as we approached it looked like vacation. After borrowing a generator and power washer for the inside, cleaning out the mice and the bats and doing some repairs, we were ready to move in. One suitcase each and a carry-on.The view from…
