And here the kids roam the hood with a dead baby gator. Aaah Panama! In a place where there is nothing going on, there is always something to do.  A life of random business in the jungle of Panama.  

  

Above is the end of the known world. We love it!  And below is the closest neighbor. We have a great neighborhood watch program.

  2. I have had a quick look ( well quite a long one actually) and just love this website of yours. I like your chunks of life there and the photographs are wonderful. It seems a beautiful place to live, what brought you out there… hoping to read lots more and thanks for great information

  3. I just found your page because you had left a comment on my blog about my getting my E cédula. It looks like you’ve gone a bit more native than I have, but neither of us are typical gringo expats, that’s for sure.

    In my initial visits to Panama of course I explored around the Herrera area and I quite liked Chitré and Los Santos. In fact, until I actually got out here to David I Chitré was at the top of my list of places to live. But Chiriqui has everything I want and need. Like you, I LOVE IT HERE.

    • Well for an old salt you’ve done well to get out of the rat race and into the jungle. I don’t fit any program but certainly love the free living here. Any time you come out to Tonosi area give me a shout. We live visitors and would love to do lunch or anything else.

  4. I love this blog! I’ve lived in Panama for almost ten years and I never get bored here. I just can’t get enough of it. It’s so much fun seeing all these great pictures on your blog. I can’t wait to explore it.
